In mobile market, there are ample of smart phones
available of different companies. There are so many cell phones available at low
prices but still people like to use Samsung more. The main reason behind this
is the status, knowledge and experience. Samsung exist in the market from last
so many years and that’s why it knows demand and needs of the customers very
well. Every time Samsung come up with great innovations in the market and
compete with rivals. Samsung uses different strategies to advertise its
products. In past blogs, I discuss about its push and pull strategy and various
campaigns launched by the organization to make people aware about its presence
in the market. Apart from those, here I would like to discuss its social media
strategy that how Samsung uses social networking to popularize its products and
services. Social media plays a crucial role for every business. Facebook,
twitter, you tube are social networking sites through which Samsung advertise
its products. As nowadays, everyone is connected with Facebook. Facebook
Samsung has an official Facebook page and there are more than 3 million fans of
it. On its page it provide information about its upcoming products and product
catalog. Organization also upload videos to give complete description of the
product. Sometimes it post various design to get feedback from the customers according
to their likings. Cover picture of Samsung page is always the upcoming items or
launches. It does not allow customers to post on its page but they can comment
to provide their feedback. Not only has the Facebook, Samsung also had fans
followers on twitter. Organization add post more on twitter than Facebook. Social
media has a great influence on Samsung revenues. Samsung is doing its best in
social media strategy but still there are some factors which should also be
